Course Details

Do you know what is below the foot path before you start digging?

Damaged cables can cost you thousands, training your team in cable avoidance will not only make your personnel safer but could potentially save you financially not only with the damage to cables but also by the delay in completing a project. Being able to use a cable locator is essential to the safe running of your project. On this training course your delegates will learn how to map what is beneath the ground before they start digging, making their work a lot safer.

Group In-House Training

If you have a group of delegates to train we can send a trainer to your site, the trainer will train your delegates on the exact equipment that your staff use so they are getting the best out of the course. Sending a trainer to your site also works out more cost effective for you as well.

Public Cat & Genny or NRSWA Unit 1

Alternatively if the training is just for yourself we have public course options available, with cable avoidance courses running at centres UK wide and dates weekly. For dates and prices for NRSWA unit 1 or cable avoidance please call us on 0845 130 7411, use the enquiry button or chat to us.

Cable avoidance training (cat and genny training) will teach you how to avoid underground cables and pipes whilst excavating roads and pavements.
